How long will a provisional booking hold for? A provisional booking will hold for 1 week after that time if you inform us you are still interested in the date we will extend the hold date.

How much is the deposit? An initial deposit of €650 is required to secure the date then 3 months following your booking date a second deposit of €900 is required and finally 3 months prior to Wedding date a third deposit of €900 is due. Deposits are non transferable or refundable.

When do I pick my menu? Approximately 6-8 weeks prior to your Wedding date we will send you a Sunday lunch voucher and ask you to make an appointment that we can discuss the final details of your wedding day at The Summerhill House Hotel.

Can I bring my own wine? Yes you can supply your own wine a corkage charge does apply.

Can we have a choice on the menu? Yes, all menus can have a choice, though a supplement will apply.

Can we have our Blessing/Civil ceremony at the hotel? Yes, we now have a full Wedding license and can facilitate civil ceremonies we have also hosted a number of blessings and humanist services.  We would be delighted to discuss this option with you.
